  • Offline-first

Prayer times, the Quran, hadith collections and the 99 names work without a network connection. Once installed, the app is yours to use anywhere.

  • No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for. Tevazu does not ask for your name, your email or your phone number.

  • Your data stays put

Your location is used to calculate prayer times and stays on your device. Tevazu does not sell user data — see the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

  • Ad-free with Pro

Tevazu is free, supported by modest ads. An optional Pro subscription removes them and supports continued development.

Available in fourteen languages

Turkish, English, Arabic, Azerbaijani, German, Indonesian, Persian, French, Russian, Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, Malay and Uzbek. Arabic, Persian and Urdu render in their original scripts, right-to-left.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tevazu free?

Yes. Tevazu is free to download and free to use, supported by unobtrusive in-app ads. An optional subscription called Tevazu Pro removes ads and supports continued development of the app. The subscription is managed through the App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android — Tevazu never sees or stores your payment details.

How are prayer times calculated?

Tevazu calculates daily prayer times from your location and the calculation method selected in the App. Method availability can differ by platform and App version, so use Settings → Prayer Times to see the current choices for your device. If your local authority publishes different times, select the method appropriate for your region or contact support with your city and the times you see.

Does the Qibla compass work without internet?

Yes. The Qibla direction is computed from your saved location and Makkah's coordinates using your device's magnetometer and accelerometer. The compass works fully offline once your location is set. Tevazu also includes live calibration guidance, an accuracy indicator and a manual fallback for noisy magnetic fields.

Which devices does Tevazu support?

On iOS the app requires iPhone running iOS 17 or later, and Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. On Android the app runs on phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or later. Tevazu includes home-screen widgets on both platforms and a dedicated Apple Watch app.

What data does Tevazu collect?

Tevazu has no sign-up. Location supports prayer-time and Qibla features, while named providers may process diagnostics, advertising, attribution and subscription data. The Privacy page separates mobile App processing from website analytics and explains the available controls.

Can I customise the adhan and notifications?

Yes. Each of the five daily prayers has its own notification settings. You can choose a full adhan sound, a short alert tone, vibration only, or silent reminders. Pre-prayer warnings let you know that a prayer time is approaching, and Kerahat-time alerts mark periods when prayer is discouraged. Notifications are scheduled locally and survive device restarts.
