Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Tevazu mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "App") collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language and kept it as short as honesty allows.
Mobile App data processing
This section describes the mobile integrations identified in the current technical inventory. Store privacy labels and the platform-specific inventory must be compared again before each release.
In short
- No accounts — Tevazu does not ask for your name, email, phone number or any other personal identifier.
- Your location is used to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction; location permission can be changed in system settings.
- Known mobile integrations include Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer and Meta; their purposes and controls are listed below.
- Optional purchases (Tevazu Pro) are processed by the App Store or Google Play and managed by RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
- You can reset your data at any time from the app's Settings, or by clearing app data on your device.

Tevazu is developed and operated by an independent team based in Türkiye. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy-related question or request.
Information we do not collect
Tevazu does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, videos, messages, files, calendar entries, health data or web-browsing history. The App contains no embedded web browser.
Information we do collect
Tevazu collects only the information needed to provide the features you use. Where data is shared with a third party, we name that party and explain the purpose. All transfers are encrypted in transit.
Location
Prayer times and the Qibla direction require a location. With your permission, the App uses the location precision your device provides. Location supports calculations and location-based features; related provider data flows can differ by platform and App version. You can change location permission in system settings or use manual location entry where the App offers it.
Analytics and diagnostics
To understand App reliability and diagnose faults, the App may send analytics, crash and performance events to Google Firebase services. Event and diagnostic fields can include App interactions, device/App information, crash details and performance measurements. Firebase processes this data on Google infrastructure under its own privacy terms.
Advertising
The free version of Tevazu shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID on Android) to serve more relevant ads. Whether ads are personalised depends on your consent: in regions covered by GDPR, the App presents a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form, and you can revisit your choice at any time from the in-app Settings. On iOS, you may also be asked separately under App Tracking Transparency.
Subscriptions
Tevazu Pro is an optional subscription that removes ads and supports development. Purchases are made through the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android, and Tevazu does not receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat uses an App-scoped identifier and purchase entitlement state so the App can determine whether Tevazu Pro is active.
On-demand network requests
Some features perform optional network requests when you use them — for example, downloading Quran recitations, looking up nearby mosques on a map, or playing the live broadcasts from Makkah and Madinah. These requests are made to the relevant service (a content delivery network, Google Maps, or a video provider) and are not retained by us.
Notifications
Prayer-time and other reminders are scheduled locally on your device and require notification permission. Tevazu does not send marketing push notifications.
Children
Tevazu is suitable for users of all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
You can revoke location, notification or tracking permission from system settings and reset App data from Tevazu Settings. Advertising identifiers can be reset or deleted through device controls. For requests concerning provider-held Firebase, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer or Meta data associated with an installation, write to [email protected].
International transfers
Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer and Meta may process data outside your country of residence. The location and safeguards of that processing are described in each provider's current privacy terms.
Changes to this policy
When we make material changes to this policy we update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

Analytics
With your consent we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with advertising-personalisation signals disabled. GA4 helps us understand page and device-level website usage. Before you accept, the GA4 library is not loaded and analytics cookies are not written. If you accept, GA4 can write the _ga cookies listed above.
Your choices
