Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Tevazu mobile applications for iOS and Android (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The service
Tevazu provides Islamic prayer times, the Qibla direction, the Quran with translations and recitations, classical hadith collections, a dhikr counter and other related content. The App is provided as a tool to support your personal religious practice. The App is offered free of charge, with an optional Tevazu Pro subscription that removes advertising.
Accuracy of religious content
Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical methods selected in the App; available choices can differ by platform and App version. The Qibla direction is computed from your device's sensors and your location. While we take care to use authoritative sources for Quranic text, translations and hadiths, we cannot guarantee that every calculation, translation or notification is free of error. Your personal religious obligations remain your own; please consult a qualified scholar where doctrinal questions arise.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the religious and respectful character of its content. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. You may not redistribute, resell or repackage the App or its content as your own.
Subscriptions
Tevazu Pro is an auto-renewing subscription managed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Unused portions of a free trial, if offered, are forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
Intellectual property
The App, including its user interface, code, name and logo, is the property of the Tevazu team and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Quranic text is in the public domain. Translations, transliterations, hadith collections, recitations and sermons remain the property of their respective rights holders and are included under the appropriate permissions.
Third-party services
Certain features of the App rely on third-party services, including Apple App Store and Google Play (distribution and payment), Google Firebase (analytics, crash diagnostics), Google AdMob (advertising), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Maps and OpenStreetMap (mosque search), and audio/video providers for recitations and live broadcasts. Your use of those features is also subject to the providers' own terms.
Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Tevazu team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Changes to the App and Terms
We may modify the App or these Terms from time to time. When changes to the Terms are material, we update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you breach these Terms or if continued provision becomes impractical.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
