About Tevazu: a quiet companion for daily worship
Tevazu is an independent Islamic app that brings prayer times, the Quran and the Qibla together in one simple app. It is developed by Furkan Mert Karaman, needs no account and works offline. It has been on the App Store since February 2026 and is free on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android.
تَوَاضُع
Tevazu
Humility: being free of arrogance and show, never boasting. The word comes from the Arabic root waḍʿ, “to lower, to put down”.
Designed to be opened, used and closed.
Everything you need, nothing more
Tevazu takes its name from the value it stands for: an app that is unassuming, quiet and does only what is needed. It tells you when a prayer time begins, lets you read the Quran offline and shows the Qibla; then it gets out of your way.
Daily worship is personal. That is why we ask for no sign-up, do not send your exact location to our servers and do not sell your data. The app is free and supported by ads; the optional Tevazu Pro removes them.
