Can't find your answer? Write to us with your device and the city you're in; we read every message.
Go to Support
Is Tevazu free?
Yes. Tevazu is free to download and use, supported by ads. The optional Tevazu Pro subscription removes ads and, on iPhone, unlocks advanced prayer tracking (history, statistics and a qada plan). The Quran screens are ad-free even without Pro.
Does Tevazu work outside Türkiye?
Yes. Tevazu finds your location automatically, or you can pick a city by hand, and calculates the times with the method you choose: 9 methods on iPhone and 12 on Android, including Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura and Diyanet, with a Hanafi or Shafi'i Asr setting.
Is Tevazu the official Diyanet app?
No. Tevazu is an independent app. Prayer times for Türkiye on this website are the official times published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet); in the app you can also choose another calculation method.
Does the Qibla compass work offline?
Yes. Once your location is set, the compass direction and the distance to the Kaaba are calculated on your device without an internet connection. The map view needs a connection.
Which devices does Tevazu run on?
iPhone (iOS 17 or later), Apple Watch (watchOS 10 or later) and Android phones (Android 8.0 or later). On iPhone you also get Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, a Live Activity and Dynamic Island support.
Is my location or personal data sent anywhere?
Tevazu has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or phone number. Your exact coordinates are not sent to us or to analytics; to download prayer times only your selected city or district is requested from a prayer-times service. The Privacy Policy lists every service the app uses.
