Surah Al-Masad: Arabic, transliteration and translation
Basmala: بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖيمِ
-
Al-Masad 111:1
تَبَّتْ يَدَٓا اَبٖى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّۜ
TransliterationTabbat yadā abee lahabin watabba
TranslationMay the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

Al-Masad 111:2
مَٓا اَغْنٰى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَۜ
TransliterationMā aghnā ʿanhu māluhu wamā kasaba
TranslationHis wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

Al-Masad 111:3
سَيَصْلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۚ
TransliterationSayaṣlā nāran thāta lahabin
TranslationHe will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

Al-Masad 111:4
وَامْرَاَتُهُۜ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِۚ
TransliterationWaimraatuhu ḥammālata alḥaṭabi
TranslationAnd his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.

فٖى جٖيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ
TransliterationFee jeedihā ḥablun min masadin
TranslationAround her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
