Surah Al-Waaqia in Arabic and English

1. 1 Al-Waaqia 56:1

   اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُۙ

   Transliteration

   Ithā waqaʿati alwāqiʿatu

   Translation

   When the Occurrence occurs,

2. 2 Al-Waaqia 56:2

   لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌۘ

   Transliteration

   Laysa liwaqʿatihā kāthibatun

   Translation

   There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

3. 3 Al-Waaqia 56:3

   خَافِضَةٌ رَافِعَةٌۙ

   Transliteration

   Khāfiḏatun rāfiʿatun

   Translation

   It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].

4. 4 Al-Waaqia 56:4

   اِذَا رُجَّتِ الْاَرْضُ رَجًّاۙ

   Transliteration

   Ithā rujjati alarḏu rajjān

   Translation

   When the earth is shaken with convulsion

5. 5 Al-Waaqia 56:5

   وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّاۙ

   Transliteration

   Wabussati aljibālu bassān

   Translation

   And the mountains are broken down, crumbling

6. 6 Al-Waaqia 56:6

   فَكَانَتْ هَبَٓاءً مُنْبَثًّاۙ

   Transliteration

   Fakānat habāan munbaththān

   Translation

   And become dust dispersing.

7. 7 Al-Waaqia 56:7

   وَكُنْتُمْ اَزْوَاجًا ثَلٰثَةًۜ

   Transliteration

   Wakuntum azwājan thalāthatan

   Translation

   And you become [of] three kinds:

8. 8 Al-Waaqia 56:8

   فَاَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِؕ

   Transliteration

   Faaṣḥābu almaymanati mā aṣḥābu almaymanati

   Translation

   Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

9. 9 Al-Waaqia 56:9

   وَاَصْحَابُ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِؕ

   Transliteration

   Waaṣḥābu almashamati mā aṣḥābu almashamati

   Translation

   And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?

10. 10 Al-Waaqia 56:10

    وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Waalssābiqoona alssābiqoona

    Translation

    And the forerunners, the forerunners -

11. 11 Al-Waaqia 56:11

    اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَۚ

    Transliteration

    Olāika almuqarraboona

    Translation

    Those are the ones brought near [to Allah]

12. 12 Al-Waaqia 56:12

    فٖي جَنَّاتِ النَّعٖيمِ

    Transliteration

    Fee jannāti alnnaʿeemi

    Translation

    In the Gardens of Pleasure,

13. 13 Al-Waaqia 56:13

    ثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الْاَوَّلٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Thullatun mina alawwaleena

    Translation

    A [large] company of the former peoples

14. 14 Al-Waaqia 56:14

    وَقَلٖيلٌ مِنَ الْاٰخِرٖينَؕ

    Transliteration

    Waqaleelun mina alākhireena

    Translation

    And a few of the later peoples,

15. 15 Al-Waaqia 56:15

    عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَوْضُونَةٍۙ

    Transliteration

    ʿalā sururin mawḏoonatin

    Translation

    On thrones woven [with ornament],

16. 16 Al-Waaqia 56:16

    مُتَّكِـٖٔينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَابِلٖينَ

    Transliteration

    Muttakieena ʿalayhā mutaqābileena

    Translation

    Reclining on them, facing each other.

17. 17 Al-Waaqia 56:17

    يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Yaṭoofu ʿalayhim wildānun mukhalladoona

    Translation

    There will circulate among them young boys made eternal

18. 18 Al-Waaqia 56:18

    بِاَكْوَابٍ وَاَبَارٖيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعٖينٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Biakwābin waabāreeqa wakasin min maʿeenin

    Translation

    With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring -

19. 19 Al-Waaqia 56:19

    لَا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنْزِفُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Lā yuṣaddaʿoona ʿanhā walā yunzifoona

    Translation

    No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated -

20. 20 Al-Waaqia 56:20

    وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Wafākihatin mimmā yatakhayyaroona

    Translation

    And fruit of what they select

21. 21 Al-Waaqia 56:21

    وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَؕ

    Transliteration

    Walaḥmi ṭayrin mimmā yashtahoona

    Translation

    And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.

22. 22 Al-Waaqia 56:22

    وَحُورٌ عٖينٌۙ

    Transliteration

    Waḥoorun ʿeenun

    Translation

    And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,

23. 23 Al-Waaqia 56:23

    كَاَمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ۬ الْمَكْنُونِۚ

    Transliteration

    Kaamthāli allului almaknooni

    Translation

    The likenesses of pearls well-protected,

24. 24 Al-Waaqia 56:24

    جَزَٓاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    Transliteration

    Jazāan bimā kānoo yaʿmaloona

    Translation

    As reward for what they used to do.

25. 25 Al-Waaqia 56:25

    لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فٖيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَاْثٖيمًاۙ

    Transliteration

    Lā yasmaʿoona feehā laghwan walā tatheemān

    Translation

    They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin -

26. 26 Al-Waaqia 56:26

    اِلَّا قٖيلًا سَلَامًا سَلَامًا

    Transliteration

    Illā qeelan salāman salāmān

    Translation

    Only a saying: "Peace, peace."

27. 27 Al-Waaqia 56:27

    وَاَصْحَابُ الْيَمٖينِ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الْيَمٖينِؕ

    Transliteration

    Waaṣḥābu alyameeni mā aṣḥābu alyameeni

    Translation

    The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

28. 28 Al-Waaqia 56:28

    فٖي سِدْرٍ مَخْضُودٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Fee sidrin makhḏoodin

    Translation

    [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed

29. 29 Al-Waaqia 56:29

    وَطَلْحٍ مَنْضُودٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Waṭalḥin manḏoodin

    Translation

    And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]

30. 30 Al-Waaqia 56:30

    وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Wathillin mamdoodin

    Translation

    And shade extended

31. 31 Al-Waaqia 56:31

    وَمَٓاءٍ مَسْكُوبٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Wamāin maskoobin

    Translation

    And water poured out

32. 32 Al-Waaqia 56:32

    وَفَاكِهَةٍ كَثٖيرَةٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Wafākihatin katheeratin

    Translation

    And fruit, abundant [and varied],

33. 33 Al-Waaqia 56:33

    لَا مَقْطُوعَةٍ وَلَا مَمْنُوعَةٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Lā maqṭooʿatin walā mamnooʿatin

    Translation

    Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,

34. 34 Al-Waaqia 56:34

    وَفُرُشٍ مَرْفُوعَةٍؕ

    Transliteration

    Wafurushin marfooʿatin

    Translation

    And [upon] beds raised high.

35. 35 Al-Waaqia 56:35

    اِنَّٓا اَنْشَأْنَاهُنَّ اِنْشَٓاءًۙ

    Transliteration

    Innā anshanāhunna inshāān

    Translation

    Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation

36. 36 Al-Waaqia 56:36

    فَجَعَلْنَاهُنَّ اَبْكَارًاۙ

    Transliteration

    Fajaʿalnāhunna abkārān

    Translation

    And made them virgins,

37. 37 Al-Waaqia 56:37

    عُرُبًا اَتْرَابًاۙ

    Transliteration

    ʿuruban atrābān

    Translation

    Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,

38. 38 Al-Waaqia 56:38

    لِاَصْحَـابِ الْيَمٖينِؕࣖ

    Transliteration

    Liaṣḥābi alyameeni

    Translation

    For the companions of the right [who are]

39. 39 Al-Waaqia 56:39

    ثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الْاَوَّلٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Thullatun mina alawwaleena

    Translation

    A company of the former peoples

40. 40 Al-Waaqia 56:40

    وَثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الْاٰخِرٖينَؕ

    Transliteration

    Wathullatun mina alākhireena

    Translation

    And a company of the later peoples.

41. 41 Al-Waaqia 56:41

    وَاَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِۙ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِؕ

    Transliteration

    Waaṣḥābu alshshimāli mā aṣḥābu alshshimāli

    Translation

    And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?

42. 42 Al-Waaqia 56:42

    فٖي سَمُومٍ وَحَمٖيمٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Fee samoomin waḥameemin

    Translation

    [They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water

43. 43 Al-Waaqia 56:43

    وَظِلٍّ مِنْ يَحْمُومٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Wathillin min yaḥmoomin

    Translation

    And a shade of black smoke,

44. 44 Al-Waaqia 56:44

    لَا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَرٖيمٍ

    Transliteration

    Lā bāridin walā kareemin

    Translation

    Neither cool nor beneficial.

45. 45 Al-Waaqia 56:45

    اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتْرَفٖينَۚ

    Transliteration

    Innahum kānoo qabla thālika mutrafeena

    Translation

    Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,

46. 46 Al-Waaqia 56:46

    وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنْثِ الْعَظٖيمِۚ

    Transliteration

    Wakānoo yuṣirroona ʿalā alḥinthi alʿatheemi

    Translation

    And they used to persist in the great violation,

47. 47 Al-Waaqia 56:47

    وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ اَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Wakānoo yaqooloona aithā mitnā wakunnā turāban waʿithāman ainnā lamabʿoothoona

    Translation

    And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?

48. 48 Al-Waaqia 56:48

    اَوَاٰبَٓاؤُ۬نَا الْاَوَّلُونَ

    Transliteration

    Awa ābāonā alawwaloona

    Translation

    And our forefathers [as well]?"

49. 49 Al-Waaqia 56:49

    قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَوَّلٖينَ وَالْاٰخِرٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Qul inna alawwaleena waalākhireena

    Translation

    Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples

50. 50 Al-Waaqia 56:50

    لَمَجْمُوعُونَ اِلٰى مٖيقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ

    Transliteration

    Lamajmooʿoona ilā meeqāti yawmin maʿloomin

    Translation

    Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."

51. 51 Al-Waaqia 56:51

    ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ اَيُّهَا الضَّٓالُّونَ الْمُكَذِّبُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Thumma innakum ayyuhā alḏḏālloona almukaththiboona

    Translation

    Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,

52. 52 Al-Waaqia 56:52

    لَاٰكِلُونَ مِنْ شَجَرٍ مِنْ زَقُّومٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Laākiloona min shajarin min zaqqoomin

    Translation

    Will be eating from trees of zaqqum

53. 53 Al-Waaqia 56:53

    فَمَالِـؤُ۫نَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَۚ

    Transliteration

    Famālioona minhā albuṭoona

    Translation

    And filling with it your bellies

54. 54 Al-Waaqia 56:54

    فَشَارِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَمٖيمِۚ

    Transliteration

    Fashāriboona ʿalayhi mina alḥameemi

    Translation

    And drinking on top of it from scalding water

55. 55 Al-Waaqia 56:55

    فَشَارِبُونَ شُرْبَ الْهٖيمِؕ

    Transliteration

    Fashāriboona shurba alheemi

    Translation

    And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels.

56. 56 Al-Waaqia 56:56

    هٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ الدّٖينِؕ

    Transliteration

    Hāthā nuzuluhum yawma alddeeni

    Translation

    That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.

57. 57 Al-Waaqia 56:57

    نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَࣖ

    Transliteration

    Naḥnu khalaqnākum falawlā tuṣaddiqoona

    Translation

    We have created you, so why do you not believe?

58. 58 Al-Waaqia 56:58

    اَفَرَاَيْتُمْ مَا تُمْنُونَؕ

    Transliteration

    Afaraaytum mā tumnoona

    Translation

    Have you seen that which you emit?

59. 59 Al-Waaqia 56:59

    ءَاَنْتُمْ تَخْلُقُونَهُٓ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْخَالِقُونَ

    Transliteration

    Aantum takhluqoonahu am naḥnu alkhāliqoona

    Translation

    Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?

60. 60 Al-Waaqia 56:60

    نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ الْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Naḥnu qaddarnā baynakumu almawta wamā naḥnu bimasbooqeena

    Translation

    We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone

61. 61 Al-Waaqia 56:61

    عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُبَدِّلَ اَمْثَالَكُمْ وَنُنْشِئَكُمْ فٖي مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

    Transliteration

    ʿalā an nubaddila amthālakum wanunshiakum fee mā lā taʿlamoona

    Translation

    In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know.

62. 62 Al-Waaqia 56:62

    وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ النَّشْاَةَ الْاُو۫لٰى فَلَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    Transliteration

    Walaqad ʿalimtumu alnnashata aloolā falawlā tathakkaroona

    Translation

    And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?

63. 63 Al-Waaqia 56:63

    اَفَرَاَيْتُمْ مَا تَحْرُثُونَؕ

    Transliteration

    Afaraaytum mā taḥruthoona

    Translation

    And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?

64. 64 Al-Waaqia 56:64

    ءَاَنْتُمْ تَزْرَعُونَهُٓ اَمْ نَحْنُ الزَّارِعُونَ

    Transliteration

    Aantum tazraʿoonahu am naḥnu alzzāriʿoona

    Translation

    Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?

65. 65 Al-Waaqia 56:65

    لَوْ نَشَٓاءُ لَجَعَلْنَاهُ حُطَامًا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ

    Transliteration

    Law nashāo lajaʿalnāhu ḥuṭāman fathaltum tafakkahoona

    Translation

    If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder,

66. 66 Al-Waaqia 56:66

    اِنَّا لَمُغْرَمُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Innā lamughramoona

    Translation

    [Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt;

67. 67 Al-Waaqia 56:67

    بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ

    Transliteration

    Bal naḥnu maḥroomoona

    Translation

    Rather, we have been deprived."

68. 68 Al-Waaqia 56:68

    اَفَرَاَيْتُمُ الْمَٓاءَ الَّذٖي تَشْرَبُونَؕ

    Transliteration

    Afaraaytumu almāa allathee tashraboona

    Translation

    And have you seen the water that you drink?

69. 69 Al-Waaqia 56:69

    ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْزِلُونَ

    Transliteration

    Aantum anzaltumoohu mina almuzni am naḥnu almunziloona

    Translation

    Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down?

70. 70 Al-Waaqia 56:70

    لَوْ نَشَٓاءُ جَعَلْنَاهُ اُجَاجًا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُونَ

    Transliteration

    Law nashāo jaʿalnāhu ojājan falawlā tashkuroona

    Translation

    If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?

71. 71 Al-Waaqia 56:71

    اَفَرَاَيْتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتٖي تُورُونَؕ

    Transliteration

    Afaraaytumu alnnāra allatee tooroona

    Translation

    And have you seen the fire that you ignite?

72. 72 Al-Waaqia 56:72

    ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَـهَٓا اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْشِؤُ۫نَ

    Transliteration

    Aantum anshatum shajaratahā am naḥnu almunshioona

    Translation

    Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?

73. 73 Al-Waaqia 56:73

    نَحْنُ جَعَلْنَاهَا تَذْكِرَةً وَمَتَاعًا لِلْمُقْوٖينَۚ

    Transliteration

    Naḥnu jaʿalnāhā tathkiratan wamatāʿan lilmuqweena

    Translation

    We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers,

74. 74 Al-Waaqia 56:74

    فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظٖيمِࣖ

    Transliteration

    Fasabbiḥ biismi rabbika alʿatheemi

    Translation

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

75. 75 Al-Waaqia 56:75

    فَلَٓا اُقْسِمُ بِمَوَاقِـعِ النُّجُومِۙ

    Transliteration

    Falā oqsimu bimawāqiʿi alnnujoomi

    Translation

    Then I swear by the setting of the stars,

76. 76 Al-Waaqia 56:76

    وَاِنَّهُ لَقَسَمٌ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظٖيمٌۙ

    Transliteration

    Wainnahu laqasamun law taʿlamoona ʿatheemun

    Translation

    And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great.

77. 77 Al-Waaqia 56:77

    اِنَّهُ لَقُرْاٰنٌ كَرٖيمٌۙ

    Transliteration

    Innahu laqurānun kareemun

    Translation

    Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an

78. 78 Al-Waaqia 56:78

    فٖي كِتَابٍ مَكْنُونٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Fee kitābin maknoonin

    Translation

    In a Register well-protected;

79. 79 Al-Waaqia 56:79

    لَا يَمَسُّهُٓ اِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَؕ

    Transliteration

    Lā yamassuhu illā almuṭahharoona

    Translation

    None touch it except the purified.

80. 80 Al-Waaqia 56:80

    تَنْزٖيلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمٖينَ

    Transliteration

    Tanzeelun min rabbi alʿālameena

    Translation

    [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

81. 81 Al-Waaqia 56:81

    اَفَبِهٰذَا الْحَدٖيثِ اَنْتُمْ مُدْهِنُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Afabihāthā alḥadeethi antum mudhinoona

    Translation

    Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent

82. 82 Al-Waaqia 56:82

    وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ

    Transliteration

    Watajʿaloona rizqakum annakum tukaththiboona

    Translation

    And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]?

83. 83 Al-Waaqia 56:83

    فَلَوْلَٓا اِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَۙ

    Transliteration

    Falawlā ithā balaghati alḥulqooma

    Translation

    Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat

84. 84 Al-Waaqia 56:84

    وَاَنْتُمْ حٖينَئِذٍ تَنْظُرُونَۙ

    Transliteration

    Waantum ḥeenaithin tanthuroona

    Translation

    And you are at that time looking on -

85. 85 Al-Waaqia 56:85

    وَنَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَيْهِ مِنْكُمْ وَلٰكِنْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ

    Transliteration

    Wanaḥnu aqrabu ilayhi minkum walākin lā tubṣiroona

    Translation

    And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -

86. 86 Al-Waaqia 56:86

    فَلَوْلَٓا اِنْ كُنْتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدٖينٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Falawlā in kuntum ghayra madeeneena

    Translation

    Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,

87. 87 Al-Waaqia 56:87

    تَرْجِعُونَـهَٓا اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقٖينَ

    Transliteration

    Tarjiʿoonahā in kuntum ṣādiqeena

    Translation

    Bring it back, if you should be truthful?

88. 88 Al-Waaqia 56:88

    فَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Faammā in kāna mina almuqarrabeena

    Translation

    And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah,

89. 89 Al-Waaqia 56:89

    فَرَوْحٌ وَرَيْحَانٌ وَجَنَّتُ نَعٖيمٍ

    Transliteration

    Farawḥun warayḥānun wajannatu naʿeemin

    Translation

    Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.

90. 90 Al-Waaqia 56:90

    وَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ اَصْحَابِ الْيَمٖينِۙ

    Transliteration

    Waammā in kāna min aṣḥābi alyameeni

    Translation

    And if he was of the companions of the right,

91. 91 Al-Waaqia 56:91

    فَسَلَامٌ لَكَ مِنْ اَصْحَابِ الْيَمٖينِ

    Transliteration

    Fasalāmun laka min aṣḥābi alyameeni

    Translation

    Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."

92. 92 Al-Waaqia 56:92

    وَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبٖينَ الضَّٓالّٖينَۙ

    Transliteration

    Waammā in kāna mina almukaththibeena alḏḏālleena

    Translation

    But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,

93. 93 Al-Waaqia 56:93

    فَنُزُلٌ مِنْ حَمٖيمٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Translation

    Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water

94. 94 Al-Waaqia 56:94

    وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحٖيمٍۙ

    Transliteration

    Wataṣliyatu jaḥeemin

    Translation

    And burning in Hellfire

95. 95 Al-Waaqia 56:95

    اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْيَقٖينِۚ

    Transliteration

    Inna hāthā lahuwa ḥaqqu alyaqeeni

    Translation

    Indeed, this is the true certainty,

96. 96 Al-Waaqia 56:96

    فَسَبِّـحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظٖيمِ

    Transliteration

    Fasabbiḥ biismi rabbika alʿatheemi

    Translation

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
